Who is responsible

This Privacy Policy applies to the RPK Global website, RPK Signals newsletter and inquiries made through the contact details on this website.

The Real.Politik Group LLC, trading as RPK Global ("we", "us" or "our"), is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Our business address is 2022 Columbia Road NW, Suite 307, Washington, DC 20009, United States.

Information we collect

Newsletter subscriptions. We collect the email address you submit to receive RPK Signals and information associated with managing your subscription, including subscription status and unsubscribe requests.

Inquiries. If you email or call us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to provide, which may include your name, organization, role and the contents of your inquiry.

Technical information. Our hosting and security providers may process information associated with website requests, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and error records, to deliver and protect the site.

Optional website analytics. If you accept analytics in Cookie settings, Google Analytics 4 collects information about visits, page views, referral sources, browser and device characteristics, approximate location and pseudonymous browser identifiers. Google receives technical information, including your IP address, when providing this service. According to Google, GA4 uses IP addresses to derive location information and discards them before logging the data.

Optional visitor identification. If you allow Analytics in Cookie settings, RB2B receives information about your visit, including IP address, browser identifiers, pages visited and referral information. RB2B may associate this activity with information it or its partners hold about you or your organization. This can identify a company and, for U.S. visitors, a professional profile that may include a name, business email address, job title or LinkedIn profile. The details available to us depend on our RB2B plan.

We receive information directly from you and through the providers that operate the website and newsletter. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in an initial inquiry unless necessary.

How and why we use information

We use personal information to operate and secure the website, respond to inquiries, send the updates you request, manage subscriptions and withdrawals, understand newsletter delivery and engagement, measure website use where you accept analytics, understand which businesses are interested in our services where you allow visitor identification, and meet legal obligations. We do not use website or newsletter information for unrelated marketing.

Where European or UK data protection law applies, we rely on your consent to send the newsletter and, separately, to use the optional Analytics category, which includes website measurement and visitor identification; our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries and operating a secure, reliable website; steps taken at your request before entering an agreement where relevant; and compliance with legal obligations. We consider your rights when relying on legitimate interests.

You can withdraw newsletter consent at any time and withdraw Analytics consent through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

Newsletter choices

RPK Signals is sent through Brevo. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter or by contacting c.ruiz@rpk.global. Each newsletter identifies the sender and includes our postal address.

Brevo processes your email address and subscription status to manage delivery, including delivery failures and unsubscribe requests. Our newsletters use Brevo’s standard open and click tracking. A tracking image and tracked links allow Brevo to record when an email is opened or a link is clicked and associate those events with your subscription. Reports may include event times and technical information, such as IP address or browser information. We use these reports to understand newsletter delivery and engagement.

Service providers and disclosures

We use Netlify to host and deliver the website, Brevo to manage newsletter subscriptions and delivery, Google to provide optional website analytics, RB2B to provide optional visitor identification, and email and communications providers to receive and respond to inquiries. These providers receive the information needed to perform their services.

We may also disclose information when required by law, in response to lawful requests, or when reasonably necessary to establish or defend legal claims or protect the security and rights of our business and others.

We do not use Google Analytics for advertising personalization. With your permission, we share website activity with RB2B for visitor identification as described in this policy. Visitor identification does not subscribe you to RPK Signals.

Where information is processed

We operate in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from those where you live.

For transfers subject to European or UK data protection law, applicable safeguards may include adequacy decisions or approved contractual safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses and the relevant UK provisions. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your information.

How long we keep information

Newsletter information: we keep your subscription details while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we retain a minimal suppression record for as long as needed to respect your choice and prevent further mailings.

Ordinary inquiries: we retain correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless an engagement follows or a longer period is needed to comply with law or establish or defend legal claims.

Client records: retention is governed by the relevant engagement agreement and applicable law.

Website analytics: our GA4 property is configured to retain event-level data for two months and user-level data for 14 months. The user retention period resets when new activity is recorded. These controls do not apply to standard aggregated reports, which can remain available for longer. Analytics cookies in your browser are configured to expire after 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit.

Visitor identification: we retain records available to us only while needed to understand business interest in our services or manage a relevant business relationship, subject to legal requirements. RB2B also processes information under its own service terms and privacy policy. Its identification cookies can remain in your browser for up to one year; some identifiers may also be stored in browser local storage until removed. You can withdraw consent through Cookie settings and contact us about deleting records already collected.

Technical and security records: retention depends on the service provider and the operational or security purpose. Records are retained only as long as needed for those purposes or an applicable legal requirement. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized, subject to backup and legally required retention.

Cookies, tracking and external websites

Your choice. We ask visitors worldwide whether to allow the optional Analytics category, which covers website measurement with Google Analytics and business visitor identification with RB2B. Both services load only after you accept Analytics, or when you return with a valid saved acceptance. Reject all keeps both off. Closing the initial prompt without choosing also keeps them off. When you save cookie settings, we store your preference in your browser for up to 180 days. An acceptance saved before this combined category was introduced does not authorize RB2B; a new choice is required.

Analytics cookies. With your consent, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including _ga and _ga_P6C8FGRD93, to distinguish browsers and measure visits and page views. We do not send newsletter email addresses or inquiry contents to Google Analytics. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our website integration.

Visitor-identification cookies. RB2B uses first-party cookies such as _reb2buid, _reb2butk, _reb2bgeo, _reb2bref and _reb2sessionID for identification, location, attribution and session management. Some identifiers may also be held in local storage. These technologies support matching your visit with information from other sources, including professional contact information. See RB2B’s cookie information for its full cookie list and durations.

Changing your choice. Reopen Cookie settings in the footer at any time to withdraw Analytics consent. Saving a refusal removes both integrations’ first-party cookies and RB2B’s identification entries in local storage. If either service has already loaded, the page reloads to stop it running. Withdrawal does not delete information already collected. You can also clear your browser’s site data to remove cookies and saved preferences, or contact us about information held in our account.

Fonts, images and background videos are served from the website. Our hosting provider may process technical request information for delivery and security.

We respect browser privacy signals, including Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, by keeping both optional analytics and visitor identification disabled, even if you previously accepted them.

Social-media and publication links take you to websites operated by others. Their privacy policies and tracking practices apply when you visit them.

Your rights and requests

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your personal information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, or receive information in a portable format. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

To exercise these rights, email c.ruiz@rpk.global. We may need to verify your identity and understand the request before responding. We respond within the time required by applicable law. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or protect legal claims.

You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, including an authority in the European Economic Area or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office where applicable.

Security and children

We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, but no website or email transmission can be guaranteed secure. Please contact us to agree an appropriate channel before sending sensitive documents.

This website and newsletter are intended for a professional audience and are not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We publish changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required by applicable law.
